A Gents Winter League will played each weekend till end March 2021.
There will be 18 hole stableford competitions on both Saturdays and Sundays (weather permitting).
Entry £3 per round with prizes allocated for each day.
A joining fee of £5 will be used for overall prizes based on an Order of Merit using the best 6 scores over the winter period (weather dependant).
Proposed Overall prizes (subject to total entry):
Scratch 1st £100, 2nd £70
Sect One H’cap 1st £100, 2nd £70, 3rd £50, 4th £30
Sect Two H’Cap 1st £100, 2nd £70, 3rd £50, 4th £30
“Preferred Lies” will be in operation on fairways. (Lift, clean and place within 6″ not nearer the hole).
Play will be limited to groups of 3 or less. However :
If a player’s partners fail to turn up, can the following group either split and all play as two x 2 or join up as a 4 ball. Please do NOT leave a player standing.
Tee Times will be at a premium due to reduced daylight. If you have booked but find you can no longer attend, please ensure your name is removed from the draw, the evening before play takes place.
All scores will be handicap qualifying whenever possible. (subject to course conditions).
Please help to maintain YOUR course, by replacing divots and repairing pitch marks at all times.
